Abstract
The article presents a comparison of dystopias by Eugene Zamyatin's ("We"), George Orwell ("1984") and Karin Boye ("Kallocain"). Based on the analysis of literary texts and scientific literature, the similarities and differences of the novels were identified. This allowed us to test the principles of systematization of genre features of dystopia. The comparative analysis revealed common features of dystopias written in different countries during the same century. Thus, we can talk about the genre features of dystopia in general. In the plots of two or all three novels, identical moments were found that carry a similar message. Based on this information, a table was formed. It displays all the conclusions that were made during the work.
Keywords: anti-utopia, comparative analysis, characteristics of genre, social problematics.
