Abstract

This paper presents the results of a comprehensive experimental study of the effect of a constant magnetic field on the microstructure, microhardness, lattice parameter, fine structure parameters, and the process of phase formation in aged AK9 aluminum alloy. It has been established that when a constant magnetic field is applied, a positive magnetoplastic effect is observed, the magnitude of which reaches 25%. The imposition of a constant magnetic field leads to the formation of a more perfect and homogeneous structure of the alloy, which is confirmed by an increase in the intensity of diffraction lines and a decrease in their half-width.
