Abstract

The article considers the possibilities of X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) method usage the in bioecological studies. The advantages of the method are pointed as relatively fast and uncomplicated sample preparation (for plant material is the dry ashing method), the speed of performing the analytical procedure itself, the possibility of detecting a fairly wide range of elements at the low levels. On the example of quantitative data obtained from the analysis of model plant phytomass samples, the features of the chemical elements accumulation belonging to various functional groups are demonstrated. The obtained data are compared with the regional characteristics of a conditional "reference plant"
