Abstract

The purpose of our study is to identify the relationship between types of attachment and manifestations of jealousy in romantic relationships before marriage during youth

Research methods:

This article describes the results of an empirical study on the topic of attachment and jealousy, examines the requests of potential clients individually or in pairs, which can help a psychologist in counseling work

The type of attachment and jealousy in a relationship with a partner are two important components that significantly affect the stability and quality of relationships between romantic partners. At the moment, both concepts are relevant, because young people are increasingly facing difficulties in finding harmony in relationships. The topic of the relationship between types of attachment and manifestations of jealousy in romantic relationships is of interest for study. It expands the horizon of understanding the reasons why jealousy appears
The theory of attachment was initially considered by D. Bowlby, and then it was studied by M. Ainsworth. They investigated the specificity of attachment in children. Currently, within the framework of attachment theory, researchers have moved away from studying the child a little and are considering attachment in adults. This paper will address the aspect of jealousy in romantic relationships.
